2018 was a big year for Underwood Financial as we turned 25!!! Shirley Underwood started in the business in 1993 and began building the business into what it is today. She incorporated and joined FundTrade in 2003, which has since been changed to FundEX Investments Inc.. Now, she has retired and has passed the business on to Kristen Kruse, her daughter. The fundamental premise of the business has never changed: take excellent care of our clients, first. I think that clients can see that we continue to have the same care and concern for all issues surrounding them.
As we move into the next phase for Underwood Financial, you may see more of a presence in the community for Underwood Financial, and you may see some new members join our team. The future of the industry is rapidly changing, and we want to continue to stand out – both in our offerings, and in our service levels. Creating a financial centre of excellence in Saugeen Shores will take some time, but that’s the path we’re headed on… one step at a time.
